Vantus Care is a service engagement, not an equipment or software lease. The distinction matters: you retain full control and can transition away at any time without losing access to your environment, tools, or documentation.
You own your hardware
Vantus does not lease or bundle hardware. If hardware is sourced through Vantus, it is purchased outright by the client (CapEx) and owned from day one. No hardware subscription, no financing, no lock-in.
You own your tooling
All monitoring agents, EDR tools, backup agents, and platform accounts are installed in client-owned systems and accounts. If you stop working with Vantus, the tooling stays with you.
You own your data
Logs, backups, configuration data, and reports are stored in client-controlled systems. Vantus does not retain client data in shared environments.
You own your documentation
All runbooks, escalation procedures, change logs, and environment documentation produced under Care are delivered to the client. Documentation is a deliverable, not a hostage.
Handoff readiness is standard
The Sovereign tier includes formal handoff readiness as a first-class deliverable. Other tiers document systems and access with sufficient clarity to support an orderly transition at any time.
