Contract & Scope Agreement

Master services agreement is signed, scope of care modules is confirmed, and primary contacts are established on both sides.

Week 1Step 02

Environment Baseline

We audit the current state of the in-scope environment: assets, access, configurations, and existing tooling. This baseline informs the remediation backlog.

Week 1–2Step 03

Access Governance Setup

Dedicated Vantus service accounts are created with least-privilege access. No shared admin credentials. Access is scoped to what is needed for the contracted modules.

Week 2Step 04

Tooling & Agent Deployment

Required agents and monitoring tooling are deployed and configured. All tooling is installed in client-owned accounts—not hosted in Vantus infrastructure.

Week 2–3Step 05

Documentation Handoff Structure

A documentation repository is established and handed to the client from the start. Runbooks, escalation contacts, change logs, and access records are structured and delivered, not accumulated.

Week 3–4Step 06

First Reporting Cycle

The first monthly report is drafted and reviewed with the client. Review covers baseline posture, open backlog items, and the agreed cadence going forward.

Non-standard environments

Environments with complex configurations (MSP transitions, multi-site, legacy systems) may require a scoped pre-onboarding engagement. This is quoted separately and scoped during discovery.
